Golden Retriever Isabella has been playing the role of mum for a litter of baby white tigers at the Safari Zoological Park in Kansas, she stepped in after their real mum abandoned the cubs a day after giving birth.

Nicknamed ‘The Gentle Giant’ and ‘Nature’s Babysitter’ Newfoundlands are very protective of children. The dog ‘Nana’ in James M. Barrie’s Peter Pan was a Newfoundland. In this video a baby plays with a 2 year old Newfoundland and his stuffed toy.
